Co-op Week Oct. 12-18
Oct 12 – Oct 18 all-day

Co-op Week has been proclaimed across Canada every October since 1982. International Credit Union Day, which takes place on the Thursday of Co-op Week, has been celebrated worldwide on the third Thursday of October since 1948.

Members of co-operatives and credit unions across Canada celebrate Co-op Week each year, during the third week of October. Co-op Week is a time to reflect on the contributions the co-operative sector has made to the lives of Canadians and celebrate the impact that co-operatives have in our communities.

On Co-op Roundtable @ Central 1 Credit Union
Oct 21 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

The Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op) is hosting 30 local Roundtables throughout the province. This event is one of five roundtables happening in the Greater Toronto Area.

The roundtables are an opportunity for co-op leaders, staff, volunteers and enthusiasts to meet one another, gain a better awareness of the variety of co-ops in each region and begin considering how we might best work together for mutual benefit – sharing information and ideas, knowledge, expertise; possibly planning joint projects or programs and making the co-op alternative more widely known in our region.

The ideas generated at these meetings will shape the agendas of six regional conferences to held early in the new year -with one being planned for Toronto.

Please join us for this informal session two hour meeting and sharing session!

if the time and location is not convenient, please use the link below for information on the other four roundtables being held in the Toronto region, or contact us at gta@ontario.coop.

Note: in registering for the event, you will also be subscribed to the monthly  On Coop e-newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time following the instructions in each newsletter.
