Peel/Halton Co-operative Housing Federation (PHCHF) is a co-operative association made up of member housing co-ops and related organizations in the Peel/Halton area.

PHCHF is financed by annual membership dues, fees for services and revenue shared by CHF Canada.

Here at The Compass we have many programs that often don’t get acknowledged but provide a lot of relief and support for our clients. Christmas is a stressful time for low income parents in terms of gifts, food, expectations etc. Christmas only happens once a year, but the families that use our services have their children’s birthdays all throughout the year. To help provide for kids birthdays we take “overflow donations” of toys from Christmas and distribute them as birthday gifts. This year unfortunately our toy room is bare shelved 🙁 so we are launching our first-ever Christmas in July to provide from now until Christmas!
