Peel/Halton CHF is looking for qualified people to run for positions on our Board of Directors.

Do you think unconventionally? Are you comfortable with technology; we are a paperless board and use tablets. Do you want to make a difference in the co-operative housing sector? Consider running for the Board.
Who we are
Peel/Halton CHF Board of Directors according to by-laws and rules approved by the members manages and directs the business of the Federation. The Board makes sure that Peel/Halton CHF is performing well and is accountable to the members.
There are eight directors out of a possible nine who represent housing co-ops on the Peel/Halton CHF Board.
- 7 who represent PHCHF member housing co-ops
- 1 director 30 years and under from a PHCHF member housing co-op
- 1 director representing a management company/resource group
What is the time commitment?
The Board meets once a month approximately 10x during the year for 2.5 hours. We provide dinner and pay mileage to the Board meetings.
Positions up for Election in 2020
There are 5 positions to be elected at the AGM. Four for a two-year term and one for a one year term.
You can run for these positions if you are:
- 18 years of age or older
- mentally competent
- not an undischarged bankrupt, and
- a member, director, or officer of a corporate member of the Federation
