Who we are

Peel/Halton CHF Board of Directors, according to by-laws and rules approved by the members, manages and directs the business of the Federation. The Board ensures that Peel/Halton CHF performs well and is accountable to the members.

Seven directors represent PHCHF member housing co-ops on the Peel/Halton CHF Board.

What is the time commitment?

The Board meets once a month, approximately 10x during the year, for approximately two hours. Currently, meetings are being held virtually.

Positions up for Election in 2025

There are four positions to be elected at the AGM—three for a two-year term and one for a one-year term.

You can run for these positions if you are:

  • 18 years of age or older,
  • not a person who is incapable of managing property within the meaning of the Substitute Decisions Act 1992,
  • not an undischarged bankruptcy,
  • a member, director, or officer of a corporate member of the Federation
